Specific approvals (SPA)

Annex V (Part-SPA) to Regulation 965/2012 defines a number of specific operations requiring approval, such as ETOPS or low visibility operations.

This approval may be required by operators holding or in the process of obtaining an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued in accordance with Re 965/2012 as well as aircraft operators engaged in non-commercial operation (Annex VI and VII of Reg. 965/2012 (NCC/NCO Parts) and Specialised Commercial Operation (Annex VIII to Reg. 965/2012 (part SPO).
